    Q: How to remove and install A/C Accumulator?
    A: To replace the desiccant in the condenser, begin by having an air conditioning technician discharge the refrigerant. Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the condenser. Use an Allen wrench to detach the end plug and remove the desiccant from the condenser using needle-nose pliers. Put in desiccant with new O-rings and bottom cap and lubricate with refrigerant oil, then tighten the end plug. Reinstall the condenser and have the system evacuated, charged, and leak tested by a professional.
