  Q: How do you remove the radiator and Coolant Reservoir?

  A: To remove the radiator, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Then, remove the engine splash shield(s) and any covers for the engine. Disconnect the wiring to both fan motors and drain the cooling system. Detach the upper and lower radiator hoses, as well as the reservoir hose. If your vehicle has automatic transaxles, disconnect the transaxle oil cooler lines from the radiator. Unbolt the radiator top mounts and carefully remove the radiator and fans as an assembly. Remove the cooling fans from the radiator. Inspect the radiator for leaks, damage, and blockage. Clean the radiator with compressed air and a soft brush. To install the radiator, ensure that the rubber mounts are correctly in place. Fill the cooling system with the proper mixture of antifreeze and water. Start the engine and check for leaks. Check the coolant level and add more if needed. Don't forget to check the automatic transaxle fluid level and add fluid as necessary. Moving on to the coolant reservoir, it is bolted to the right fenderwell. Use a small clamp to pinch the hose connecting the reservoir to the radiator. Place a drain pan under the reservoir and disconnect the hose. Remove the mounting screws and lift the reservoir out. Pour any remaining coolant into a container and inspect the reservoir for cracks and chafing. Replace it if damaged. To reinstall the reservoir, follow the reverse of the removal procedure and refill it to the lower level line.
