Hyundai 57700-1E050 Gear & Linkage Assembly-Power Steering

In the removal process for steering gear on 2006 and later models, stabilizer bar links and tie-rod ends are disconnected, followed by detaching the control arm balljoints from the steering knuckles. The power steering fluid return hose is disconnected, drained, and capped. The power steering pressure line fitting bolt is removed, and the steering shaft universal joint is detached from the steering gear pinion. Heat protector bolts and exhaust system rubber hangers are removed, and the through-bolts connecting the front and rear engine mounts to the subframe are taken out. The rear engine mounting bracket bolts are removed, and the bracket is detached from the subframe. The power steering pressure line and return hose are disconnected. On 2012 and later models, the electrical connector is disconnected from the power assist motor on the steering gear. Steering gear mounting bolts are removed, and the steering gear is taken out.
