Every 3000 miles of every 3 months the hinges and latch assemblies of the doors, hood and trunk should be smeared with light oil or lock lubricant drop or two. Further, the door latch strikers should be greased with a thin layer of grease to reduce the chances of frequent wearing, and to ensure smooth operations of the door latch strikers. It is also recommended that the door and the trunk locks should be lubricated through the help of a spray-on graphite lubricant.
