All models are fitted with an SRS or airbag system which is aimed at preserving the lives of the driver and a person seated in the front seat in the case of an accident that involves the car's frontal-part. When working with an airbag module, it is necessary to orient the airbag opening to the side that is away from the body, do not attempt to take measurements of any kind of resistance by any SRS component and do not use electrical welding equipment while working with the airbag connectors without disconnecting them; while a live airbag module should not be disposed of but rather returned to the dealer or a qualified repair shop. As for other modules including driver's side airbag, removal and installation of module and spiral cable should be made by professionals.
