Note that 2004 and later models vary somewhat, but the general procedure is similar. Begin by raising the vehicle, securely supporting it on jackstands, and removing the front wheel. Next, remove the turn signal housing and front bumper cover. Detach the screws and then remove the inner fenderwell. Open the hood and remove the fender-to-body bolts, making note of any washers or shims used under the tabs. For 2011 and later models, remove the headlight assemblies. Detach the fender, ensuring that an assistant supports it while being moved away from the vehicle to prevent damage to the surrounding body panels. Installation is the reverse of removal.
