In the vehicle there are several electrical accessories that employ the use of relays and they include the fuel injection system relays, horns relay, starter relays and fog lamps relays among others. Relays work based on-low current control circuit turns a high current power circuit on and off. The defective relay causes the concerned component not to work as it is supposed to. Majority of relays resides in the engine compartment fuse/relay box while others are in the specific under hood box at the fender.
