Hyundai 28231-2G410 TURBOCHARGER

Start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal and oxygen sensor. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield and front exhaust system. Remove the subframe and disconnect the turbocharger water supply and drain hose. Remove the turbocharger support bracket and oil drain pipe. Remove the turbocharger oil feed and drain pipe and the exhaust manifold-to-cylinder head nuts. Maneuver the exhaust manifold/turbocharger out and discard the gasket. To install, add new O-rings to the oil pipes. Clean the turbocharger and exhaust manifold surfaces. Position the manifold/turbocharger on the studs, apply anti-seize compound, and tighten the nuts. Reverse the removal steps for the rest of the installation. Lastly, change the engine oil and filter.
