How to remove and install a steering wheel on Hyundai Accent?

Park the vehicle straight ahead. Remove the battery negative terminal connector and wait one minute among airbag-fitted models. Get rid of horn pad from the steering wheel of a model without an airbag which is a 2005 or older or pull off screw covers on both sides of steering wheel, then unscrew airbag module mounting bolts. On 2006-2011 models, slightly loosen three retaining screws from behind steering wheel. For 2012 and later models, simply loosen two captive mounting screws along either side of wheel. Gently lift out air bag module by hand, disengage electrical connectors as necessary. Loosen and take off steering wheel retaining nut. Make sure to mark the relationship between hub and shaft before removal for easier reinstallation as well maintaining alignment of stem while installing new wheels using a suitable press tool to remove it from shaft.
