Park the vehicle straight ahead. Remove the battery negative terminal connector and wait one minute among airbag-fitted models. Get rid of horn pad from the steering wheel of a model without an airbag which is a 2005 or older or pull off screw covers on both sides of steering wheel, then unscrew airbag module mounting bolts. On 2006-2011 models, slightly loosen three retaining screws from behind steering wheel. For 2012 and later models, simply loosen two captive mounting screws along either side of wheel. Gently lift out air bag module by hand, disengage electrical connectors as necessary. Loosen and take off steering wheel retaining nut. Make sure to mark the relationship between hub and shaft before removal for easier reinstallation as well maintaining alignment of stem while installing new wheels using a suitable press tool to remove it from shaft. If there happens to be an airbag in your car, confirm that its mating mark is aligned with neutral mark on clockspring assembly. For proper installation of the wheel, align the shaft's mark with that on steerings' hub and gently push it over until completely installed onto shaft in order to place them together properly according to engineers instruction made by the manufacturer who need not be mentioned at all times here because they have also used several other methods for fixing this problem where they might eventually come across some difficulties regarding its operation caused due various reasons such as poor maintenance carried out over years since purchase or carelessness taken during handling process without being knowledgeable enough about how these things work without causing any damage whatsoever those who think otherwise could even result into serious accidents while driving around town if not done correctly just like said earlier so be careful when doing anything right after removing old ones even if it seems simple task such placing new wheels onto rims thereby making sure all necessary safety precautions are met beforehand while conducting repairs inside garages etc since you never know what can happen later Next step would involve placing new wheel on the shaft and making marker positions with each other followed by slipping it back onto same and utilizing a hub nut to hold them in place as well attaching speaker wires for horn pads or reinstalling air bag modules after tightening all available screws tightly using moderate force applied during connecting negative battery cables.
