The F800 earlier than 2003 with the fixed-mast antenna do not have the cable, the fixed-mast antenna can be easily removed by loosening the wrench on the hex part of the mast. Next, the mast has to be unbolted and then to unscrew the antenna nut and the bezel it is necessary to have a large screwdriver. To dismantle the antenna, one needs to pull the interior trim panel, need to disconnect the antenna lead from the base and, finally, unscrew the mounting bolt. The steps of Installation are the mirror image of the steps of removal, that is, they occur in the reverse order. Models from 2004-2006 already came equipped with an Antenna-tip integrated into the rear window glass; however, some models had an electric Antenna located in the right of the automobile in its right-quarter panel and could be accessed in the boot part. If from 2007 or newer, then an SOARS roof antenna is used, which requires removal of the headliner to access it; the antenna system also may be engaged with rear window glass, excluding the 2013 through 2017 GT models.
