However, this procedure relates to the 2006 & earlier models since the 2007 & later models employ the electric power steering. First, set the multi-meter aside and unscrew the cable connected to the negative terminal of the battery. You should use the large syringe or suction gun and then you have to drain as much as you can from the power steering fluid reservoir putting a drain pan under the vehicle because when you will disconnect the hoses, the power steering fluid will spill. Subsequently, unbolt the fluid reservoir supply hose from the power steering pump and then unscrew the pressure hose banjo bolt. On the other hand to dismantle the power steering, first release the lock bolt and the adjusting bolt to take away the bell of the power steering then remove the bolts used to fix the pump and detach the pump from the vehicle. For installation simply reverse the above removal process but make sure to set the tension of the drive belt right. Finally fill up the reservoir up full and bleed the fluid out of the system.
