How to remove and install the Cooling Fan Assembly on Hyundai Sonata?

For 2005 and earlier models, two fans are mounted side by side, while 2006 and later models use one larger fan. To remove the cooling fan assembly, disconnect the battery cable, remove the battery and tray for 2011 and later models, and the air intake duct for 2006 and later models. Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the wiring bracket if present, and the fan/shroud fasteners. Lift out the fan assembly, remove the fan retaining nut or clip, the fan blade, and the fan motor. Reverse the process to install.
