Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, then raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands while releasing the parking brake. Remove the rear wheel and disconnect the wheel speed sensor from the hub carrier. Next, remove the brake disc and take out the four rear hub mounting bolts to detach the hub assembly from the hub carrier. For further disassembly of the hub, a large puller and a hydraulic press are required, and it is advisable to take the unit to an automotive shop experienced in this work. Installation follows the reverse order of removal, ensuring that the part of the outer bearing support with the round protrusion faces upward, and tighten the mounting fasteners to the specified torque. If the main nut was removed, stake it to the spindle after tightening.
