    What are the steps for removing the lower arm for the 2009 Hyundai Elantra? Posted by Customer

    1. Place a floor jack under the lower control arm to support it securely. 2. On 1.6L models, disconnect the stabilizer bar link nut and separate the link from the stabilizer bar. 3. Loosen (but don't remove) the inner pivot bolt. 4. Remove the bolt at the outer end of the lower control arm and lower the jack until the coil spring can be removed. 5. Remove the inner pivot bolt, then remove the lower control arm. 6. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the fasteners, raising the suspension with a floor jack before tightening the pivot bolts.
