For 2007 and later models, particularly on 2011 and later 1.BL models, the balljoint is not serviceable and must be replaced along with the control arm. Unscrew the fasteners and remove the balljoint from the steering knuckle, then installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring to tighten the fasteners.
