For 2006 and later models, the glove box is opened. On 2006 and earlier models, the rubber bumper is pulled out from each side of the box. On 2007 and later models, the damper is rotated counterclockwise and removed. The hinge pins are released and the glove box is allowed to fall open completely. The release tabs on the filter housing are pinched and the filter is pulled rearward.

Installation is the reverse of removal. Make sure the hinge tabs on the housing cover engage properly with the lower part of the housing.
