Hyundai 97133-2G000 Air Filter Assembly

For 2006 and later models, the glove box is opened. On 2006 and earlier models, the rubber bumper is pulled out from each side of the box. On 2007 and later models, the damper is rotated counterclockwise and removed. The hinge pins are released and the glove box is allowed to fall open completely. The release tabs on the filter housing are pinched and the filter is pulled rearward.

To remove the air filter for the passenger compartment, open the glove box and release the assist cord on the right side. Lower the glove box door by pushing inward on both sides of the box. Pull back the trim panel. Turn the filter door knob counterclockwise to release it. Lift the cover off and remove the upper and lower air filter elements.
