Hyundai 25310-24000 Radiator Assembly

To remove the radiator, follow these steps, Disconnect the negative battery cable. Turn the heater temperature control to HOT, drain the cooling system by removing the radiator drain plug if present, and save the coolant if it's in good condition. Loosen hose clamps and detach radiator hoses, breaking the seal if needed, or cut and replace old hoses. Disconnect the reservoir hose from the filler neck. Disconnect cooling fan(s) electrical connector(s) - one fan on models without A/C, two fans on most A/C models. For automatic transaxle vehicles, place a drain pan under fittings and disconnect fluid cooler lines, capping open lines. On 1986-1989 models, remove the grille; on 2012 and later models, remove the front bumper cover. Remove radiator mounting bolts accordingly,1986-1989 models, upper and lower bolts;1990-2005 models, upper insulator bolts, remove insulators;2006 and later models, remove fans and shrouds, then bolts. Lift out the radiator with cooling fan(s) attached, remove the fan(s). Inspect the radiator for leaks or damage, and clean it carefully. To install, Ensure locator pins under the radiator align and seat in insulator grommets, then reverse the removal process. After installation, fill the cooling system with the proper antifreeze-water mixture. Start the engine, check for leaks, let it reach normal temperature, and recheck coolant level. For automatic transaxle vehicles, check and add fluid as needed.
