    How do you test the Vehicle Speed Sensors after inspecting the connector for the 2000 Hyundai Elantra? Posted by Customer
    A:
    Plug in the electrical connector, backprobe the ground and output terminals of the VSS connector, and connect a voltmeter to the probes. Turn the ignition key On, hold the right front tire steady, and rotate the left front tire by hand while watching the voltmeter. The sensor should produce a fluctuating voltage of zero to approximately 5.0 volts. If it doesn't, replace the VSS.
