Hyundai 58350-3XA00 Rear Brake Shoe & Lining Kit

1. Fit the new rear shoe to the backing plate and install the hold-down retainer. 2. Install the new front shoe in the same way and install its hold-down. 3. Install the upper return spring. 4. Clean the adjuster and lightly lubricate it with high-temperature grease. 5. Install the adjuster in its original orientation. 6. Install the lower return spring and rotate the adjuster for clearance.

Check the drum for cracks, score marks, deep scratches, and hard spots. If hard spots cannot be removed with fine emery cloth or if any other conditions exist, the drum must be taken to an automotive machine shop to be machined. It is recommended to resurface the drums whenever a brake job is done.
