The Car Batteries are SLI (starting lighting ignition) types usually comprising of six cells in 12v. Different batteries have been applied in the course of years such as the conventional flooded lead-acid (FLA), which is subject to maintenance, maintenance-smooth and absorbed glass mat (AGM) which are convenient. The many important specifications of these Car Batteries are cold cranking amps (CCA) and reserve capacity that are very important in performance especially in cold climates. The BCI group number is arranged by size/component/labelling and variations in terminal types. Generally, the Hyundai Accent Car Batteries in Hyundai Accent vehicles are critical to ensuring the continuous functionality of the engine and electrical system consistency in the car, and improved battery technology make cars more efficient to operate as well as making maintenance activities less frequent.

Hyundai Accent Car Batteries Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove and replace Car Batteries on a Hyundai Accent?
    A:
Disconnect the negative cable then the positive cable from the battery. To remove the battery, detach the cable from the negative terminal, detach the cable from the positive terminal, remove the nuts and attach the clamp. Always disconnect the negative Battery Cable first and hook it up last or the battery may be shorted by the tool being used to loosen the cable clamps. Remove the nuts and bolts and the battery hold down clamp. Lift out the battery. Special battery lifting straps that attach to the battery posts are available at auto parts stores. Lifting the battery is much easier if you use one. If the battery tray is damaged or must be removed for access to other components, remove the mounting bolts and lift it out. To remove the battery tray, remove these mounting bolts. If you are replacing the battery, make sure that you get one that's identical, with the same dimensions, amperage rating, cold cranking rating, etc. Installation is the reverse of removal.
