How to check and replace a Motor and Transmission Mount on Hyundai Excel?

Insert a large screwdriver or pry bar between the mount and transaxle bracket and pry it back and forth to check for movement on the transaxle mount. The transaxle bracket should remain stationary; if it moves away from the mount, replacement of the mount is necessary. To replace the mount, support the transaxle with a jack, remove the nut and through bolt, and detach the mount, which may require lowering the transaxle slightly for adequate clearance. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
