How to remove and install a Blower Motor on Hyundai Santa Fe?

Disconnect the battery's negative terminal. The blower unit is under the dash and behind the glovebox for front-mounted units, and behind the rear quarter trim panel for rear-mounted units. For front-mounted motors, open the glove compartment, disconnect the support cord, and remove the dash panel. Remove the glove compartment inner frame screws, door screws, and the blower/evaporator mounting bolts. Remove the blower motor and transfer the fan to the new motor if replacing. Installation is the reverse of removal. For rear-mounted motors, remove the right-rear quarter trim panel, rear wheel guard, blower motor connector, and mounting bolts. Remove the blower motor. Installation is the reverse of removal.
