Loosen the front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, support it securely on jackstands, and remove the front wheel. Open the
Hood and remove the upper edge fender bolts. Remove the headlight housing. Detach the inner fender well fasteners, then remove the inner fender splash shield, and detach the front
Bumper cover from the fender to be removed. To remove the lower rear plastic cladding, remove the clip and slide the lower body cladding forward to disengage it from its retainer, only if you need to transfer it to a new fender. Remove the fender-to-body bolts at the lower rear edge, and then open the door to remove the upper rear fender bolt. Reach behind the front bumper to remove the fender bolts, noting that the inner fender bolts can only be accessed after removing the plastic fender liner. Lift off the fender, ideally with assistance to prevent damage to surrounding body panels. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring to check the alignment of the fender to the hood and front edge of the door before final tightening of the fender fasteners.
