Take off the control arm by loosening the lug nuts of the wheel and put the vehicle on jackstands. Detach the front wheels and remove stabilizer bar link from control arm. In new models, remove balljoint to control arm bolts and rear pivot bushing clamp in addition to removing it. Unbolt front mounting shaft bolts and bracket to separate control arm from chassis. Separate ball joint from steering knuckle for 1995 and later models then remove rear pivot bushing clamp and front pivot bolt nut. Take out balljoint from steering knuckle then remove rear control arm bushing bolt And front control arm bushing bolt on 2006 and later models. For determining whether there is any distortion on the control arms also check if their bushings are worn out or deteriorated in any way. If any of them are damaged or bent replace with a new one while those that have become wobbly should be taken to dealer's service department or automotive machine shop for replacement When installing the control arm, tighten up pivot bushing bolts after raising up a little bit so that you can simulate normal ride height Finally lower your car down again, tight lug nut screw properly, if necessary do alignment of your front end while checking everything.
