    What are the steps for removing the front (assist) arm and the Trailing Arm for the 2002 Hyundai Elantra? Posted by Customer

    1. Remove the cotter pin from the balljoint stud at the outer end of the assist arm, then remove the nut. 2. Detach the stabilizer bar link from the trailing arm. 3. Use a balljoint separator tool to detach the outer end of the arm from the knuckle. 4. Mark the position of the inner cam bolt, then remove the inner pivot bolt and remove the assist arm.
