To remove the components first Loosen the negative terminal bolt off the battery and then take off the top engine cover. Further, unfasten the oil dipstick mounting bolt and remove the dipstick tube from the top oil pan and dispose off the O-ring. Next, eliminate the air intake duct and the resonator; also, tip the car and drain the cooling system, and then remove the upper radiator hose. Remove the electrical connectors in the OCV valve, VIS, oil pressure sending unit, knock sensor, A/C compressor, fuel injectors, throttle body, MAP sensor, IAT sensor, and VCM. Return also the brake booster hose and the PCV hose and unplug the canister purge solenoid. Loosen the filler neck assembly to raise it aside, then undo the intake manifold bolts to pull off the manifold inclusive of the throttle body. On the installation process you will have to require cleaning of the mating surfaces of the intake manifold and the cylinder head with brake system cleaner and checking of gasket for leakage and Manor for warpage. Position the gasket and the manifold over the studs on the cylinder head in the engine, then set the nuts/bolts to the prescribed torque setting, in a progressive manner; starting with the middle bolts and then the outermost bolts. Replace the rest of the components in reverse manner and fill the coolant and replace it if necessary then start the engine in order to look for a leaks in coolant and vacuum. Last but not the least, perform a road test in the vehicle to check the efficient functioning of all the added equipment and cruise control if available.
