    How to remove and install Fuel Pressure Regulator on Hyundai Elantra? Posted by Customer

    Some models are equipped with an anti-theft radio. Before performing a procedure that requires disconnecting the battery, make sure you have the activation code. Relieve the system fuel pressure. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the port on the regulator. Disconnect the fuel return line from the bottom of the fuel pressure regulator by removing the banjo bolt. Remove the fuel pressure regulator retaining screws and remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel rail. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to use a new o-ring and new sealing washers. Tighten the pressure regulator screws to the torque. Start the engine and check for leaks.
