First, find a cotter pin at the end of the driveaxle on the models prior to 2010 and on the 2013 model onwards the nut of the driveaxle has to be unstaked using a punch with the help of hammer. Apply a breaker bar and socket to turn over the driveaxle/hub nuts and if you cannot get to it easily, then change the spare tire of the car and drop it to the ground level. Tighten the wheel lug nuts by turning the spanner clockwise, lift the front part of the automobile, and place jackstands to support it, then remove the wheel and the driveaxle/hub nut. Screw off the brake hose with the suitable fitting from the strut, to remove brake caliper, caliper mounting bracket, and brake disc for the year 2001 onwards the brake hose must remain connected with caliper and should be supported by wire only. If ABS equipped, remove the wheel speed sensor bolt. Loosen the strut to steering knuckle nuts but do not remove them presently; then, disconnect the tie rod end from the steering knuckle arm and the
Ball Joint from the steering knuckle. Drive forward the driveaxle for the removal of hub place it through wire and support another end then remove the strut to knuckle bolts to detach the knuckle from the strut. For installation, align the knuckle and hub assembly and place the driveaxle to the hub, and push the knuckle to the strut flange and then screw the bolts and nuts but do not torque it. Bolt the control arm balljoint to the steering knuckle & tighten the strut-to-knuckle nuts, then bolt the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle arm. While installing the brake disc on the hub of the car model 2001 and later, place the brass disc on the hub and fit the caliper bracket and the caliper fixing screw the bracket and the caliper accordingly. Replace the driveaxle/hub nut and put it just sufficiently tight to to fit the wheel on followed by the installation of the lugs nuts, lowering of the car, the tightening of the lug nuts next to the satisfactory tightening of the driveaxle/hub nut before fitting a new cotter pin.
