  Q: How to remove and install a turbocharger assembly?

  A: Remove the air filter housing, air inlet duct, battery, battery tray, and PCM. Raise the vehicle and remove the lower splash shield and drain the coolant. Disconnect the Intercooler inlet hose clamps from the turbocharger and intercooler. Remove the intercooler inlet pipe. On 1.6L models, disconnect the oxygen sensor and remove the front exhaust pipe. Disconnect electrical connectors around the exhaust manifold and remove the oxygen sensor and turbocharger heat shield. Remove the intake pipe from the turbocharger, coolant drain pipe, catalytic converter, and turbocharger oil feed pipe. Remove the coolant pipe and turbocharger heat protector. Remove the oil drain pipe and support bracket. Refill the cooling system.
