The Turn Signal Switch is located on the top of the steering column, combining the turn signal, hazard, and headlight dimmer functions in the stalk on the left side, while the windshield wiper/washer and cruise control are integrated into the stalk on the right side. Begin by disconnecting the negative battery cable and positioning the front wheels and steering wheel straight ahead. Remove the steering wheel, knee bolster, and steering column covers. For 2006 and earlier models and 2017 and later models, remove the switch retaining screws, disconnect the wiring, and take out the switch assembly by unscrewing three screws and unplugging the electrical connector. For 2007 through 2010 models, there are two independent switches, while in 2011 through 2016 models, the
Wiper Switch can be removed from the Turn Signal Switch, but the headlight switch cannot. Disconnect the wiring from the switch to be removed, push in the lock button, and pull the switch off. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
