Remove the metal retainers from the element and install them in the new element. The metal retainers must be inserted into the slots in the rubber before installation. Insert the element into the frame and push it until the element tabs lock. Place the metal arm assembly in the hook on the wiper arm and press it into place until the lock tab snaps into place.
