How to remove and install a Cooling Fan Assembly on Hyundai Santa Fe?

Unplug the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and drain the cooling system. If removing the rear fan, drain the engine coolant and detach the radiator hose from the top of the radiator. If removing the front fan, remove the bumper cover. Disconnect the electrical connector, then remove the fan/shroud mounting fasteners. Hold the fan blades and remove the fan retaining nut. Unbolt the fan motor from the shroud. Installation is the reverse of removal. Refill the cooling system.
