Disconnect the positive and negative
Battery Cables to check the battery. Next, test the battery using a digital voltmeter to perform open circuit voltage test which should read between 12.6 and 12.9 volts for any healthy battery if it is discharged charge it. After that, carry out a battery load test with a load tester ensuring its voltage does not go below 9.6V; this would show that there is bad cell in the battery. To replace the battery, disconnect the cables in reverse order, remove the hold-down clamp of the battery and lift out of its position Check also if there are any corrosion on your batter tray and clean them of necessary.when damaged replace it.If you buy new battery make sure it has same dimensions as old one and rates such as cranking amperes etc. Finally reinstall all removed components by reversal method.
