Detach the negative
Battery Cable and then disconnect the positive one. Check to see if the battery is fully charged. Take a digital voltmeter and perform an open voltage circuit test. To get accurate voltage measurements, we must first remove surface charge from the battery. Turn on high beams for ten seconds, then off, and let sit for two minutes. With engine off and all accessories turned off as well, place negative probe of voltmeter on negative terminal of battery and positive probe on positive terminal of battery. The voltage output for this kind of a battery should be 12.6 to 12.9 volts. If it is lower than that level, recharge it before moving ahead to the next test because you will need it during this process again. Carry out a battery load test A proper check of the condition of a battery can only be made using a load tester This measure determines whether or not the battery has the ability to start up an engine or run other accessories when they are demanded in large amounts Attach a load tester onto terminals at some places in order to perform load testing as mentioned by manufacturer's instructions Keep adding more weight to what your batteries are capable of putting up with This is why I say that; observe that your batteries don't drop below 9.6 volts under no circumstance should they go beneath 9.6 volts throughout these fifteen seconds Disconnect the negative battery cable and then disconnect the positive one Remove hold-down clamp Lift out the black box Be careful-it's heavy Take out tray while removing black box Ensure tray is washed thoroughly in clean water in case there is any dust Presently replace pallet assuming it is broken or has been damaged If you're going to replace your batteries with new ones make sure that you replace them with similar ones i.e., same size, same cranking amps etc. Reverse installation.
