The CMP sensor lies on the driver's end of the cylinder head and there are two of them in 2011 model and newer. First of all unscrew the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. In case of necessity, it is needed to remove the air intake duct in order to free working space. Finally, remove the wiring connector of the CMP sensor(s) followed by the mounting bolt(s) to pull out the sensor. If the same sensor is to be reinstalled, one should look at its O-ring and replace it if worn out. Last is the installation where everything is dome in an opposite manner to the removal.
