Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. For 2010 and earlier models, the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located in the air inlet duct between the air filter assembly and the throttle body. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor, loosen the hose clamps, and remove the MAF sensor from the air intake ducts, handling it carefully. Installation is the reverse of removal. For 2011 and later models with 2.0L engines, there are two MAP/IMT sensors; the #1 sensor is on the front of the intake manifold surge tank and the #2 sensor is on the intercooler outlet pipe. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor, remove the mounting bolts, and take out the sensor, with installation being the reverse of removal. For 2.4L engines, the MAP/IMT sensor is located on the front of the intake manifold surge tank. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor, remove the mounting bolt, and take out the sensor from the intake manifold, with installation being the reverse of removal.
