Loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the front of the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands before removing the wheels. Disconnect both sway bar links from the sway bar kit by removing the upper nut and the nut that attaches the link to the
Control Arm. Remove the sway bar kit clamps by taking out the bushing clamp nuts and bolts from both sides. For 2000 and earlier models, remove the steering gear assembly for access. For 2011 and later models, disconnect the lower control arms and the lower roll rod mount, then support the engine from above with an engine support fixture or an engine hoist and lower the subframe. Remove the sway bar kit by guiding it out from the right (passenger's) side of the vehicle. Inspect the clamp bushings and the link balljoints; replace any cracked or torn bushings and any loose link balljoints. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring that all fasteners are tightened.
