The
Spark Plug wires should be inspected whenever new sparkplugs are installed. It is prudent to visually inspect the ignition wire leads while the engine is running in a poorly lit garage as long as there is good ventilation and moving engine parts are avoided touching. The break, arcing or small spark within the wire would be visible on this point of flight. If arcing is noticed, make a note to get new wires and let the engine cool before checking out the ignition coil packs. Check each individual spark plug wire separately to avoid mixing up their order, which is crucial for proper engine operation. Original plug wires must be numbered to locate their position easily. In case you can't read it anymore, take a piece of tape and write down the correct number on it then wound round the wire plug. Grasp the rubber boot, twist half way around and pull free to disconnect a plug wire from its sparkplug; avoid pulling on the conductor itself. Within this boot check for corrosion that will look white powder resembling crusty substance.Light corrosion may be eliminated by using little brush while if there is much corrosion one needs new set of wires.Push firmly with your hand until it reaches against what's known as spark plug tip everything that's connected with metal sticks where cement hold together joined ends so that they don't move away from those. Not fitting tightly onto its end tells you to remove wire then use pliers fold over part inside boot at its middle until fit snugs in tight place.Furthermore wipe off dirt greased by rubbing cean rag along entire length.Burns cracks or any other sign of damage after cleaning right-don't do it because if bent at sharp angle current carrier might cease.Disconnect wiring from ignition coil pack.Pull only on rubber boot.Inspect for corrosion and tightness.Require that wire should return into pack.Replace them.Rate other remaining firing line connections but make sure that everyone happens properly kept coil back sparksplugs are.In case of any need for new spark plug wires, purchase a new set that is specific to your engine model.Remove and replace one wire at a time to prevent this in the firing order mix-up.Then wipe with wet cloth let it dry completely.Cracks damage or carbon track can be seen through an examination of the coil pack.Carbon tracks with sometimes onto them can be taken out.
